“OVERSIZED CAPABILITIES”

We have extensive manual machining capabilities with a collection of machines including lathes, mills and boring machines. These, coupled with our ever-growing CNC capabilities and our accomplished operators, provide us with a comprehensive suite of machining capabilities allowing to undertake your projects with skill and confidence

We choose our machines with an eye for accuracy and efficiency. Wherever possible we choose machines with aids such as digital readouts (DRO), computerised numerical controls (CNC) and live tooling. These aid us in providing you, our customers, with accurately machined end products quickly and efficiently delivered.

We have some unique machines in our collection which allow us to machine very large items post-fabrication. One of our large vertical boring machines is equipped with a 6-foot chuck, an elevating rail and a hydraulic copier which allows for precise replication of almost any shape. Our large horizontal boring machines allow us to machine items up to 1.5m tall, 2.2m wide and 1.2m deep making us one of the only companies in the South West with such comprehensive large boring capabilities.

These brief paragraphs only provide an overview of our capabilities. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch for advice on exactly how we will meet your product’s machining needs.

Finishing

“THE FINEST OF FINISHES WITH HYGINE ASSURED”

We offer an extensive range of final finishes to meet end users’ needs and satisfy industry requirements. For example, we are a bovine free factory to comply with food and pharmaceutical requirements; we also have carefully selected partners to assist where specialist finishes such as marine spec paint are needed.

Where a durable and uniform matte finish is needed, our glass bead blasting facility, only used for non-ferrous materials, will easily accommodate structures up to about 4 meters in length or breadth and 3 meters in height.

To create polished stainless steel finishes, we use a variety of grinding media to obtain the appropriate surface quality ranging from a dull polish through to a mirror finish. We can give a certified RA reading if required.

We work with a wide variety of certified
sub-contractors and so can offer a wide of surface coatings including paint, powder coating, anodising and various plating’s.
